Brigit COGROSSI, RYT, RMT

Brigit Cogrossi has a passionate fascination with health, healing and well-being since the 80′s. Her interest in human bio-mechanics, anatomy, dance, fitness, the natural world, and how the body heals led her to start teaching fitness & stretch classes at the age of 18.
After some injuries, Brigit discovered the healing powers of massage therapy and rehabilitation through movement, breathing and stretching. In 1989 she became licensed as a Registered Massage Therapist.
After 30 years of practicing yoga and 12 years of teaching, Brigit feels the benefits of her yoga practice: clarity, gratitude, focus, strength, flexibility, compassion, ability to heal, greater mobility and comfort in her own skin, allows her to flow a little freer through whatever life brings. This is her ultimate passion to share with others. Using the practice, Brigit has learned shining the light of Awareness into the sensations of the physical body and mind fosters the connection to your True Wisdom.
Brigit is grateful for her teachers, from her earliest Iyvengar training, to Hatha Yoga, Anusara with Desiree Rambaugh and Martin Kirk, to completing her 300RYT with Tracey Rich & Ganga White at White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California, following 200RYT in pranayama & meditation, the following year. The most recent teacher she has been drawn to is Natalie Rousseau of Living Yoga. Natalie shares her amazing amount of wisdom in the subtle practises, meditation, Ayurvedic Science and mythology. In June 2016, Brigit completed another 200hr Advanced Training Intensive: Skill in Action, in Victoria with Natalie.

CAROL LOGTENBERG;Yoga has always been a part of my life. My mother taught me breathing exercises and yoga postures from a very early age. Those early teachings have stayed with me my whole life but it was not until a trip to India in 2005 that I started to seriously deepen my yoga practice.
Since then, I have practiced and studied on the Sunshine Coast and on Maui. I completed my 200 hour Unified Yoga Teacher Training on the Big Island of Hawaii learning many vinyasa flows, meditation techniques, pranayamas as well as the history of yoga and its philosophy.
In my classes, we will challenge ourselves with balance postures and strengthen our cores with abdominal and back exercises. We will flow through postures to strengthen, extend and relax muscles bringing an overall ease and confidence to our bodies and minds. It is my hope that finding peace and balance in our practice on the mat will allow us to live our yoga off the mat.
In 2019, I completed a 35 hour Chair Yoga Teacher Training Program.
